“If you make yourself more than just a man,
if you devote yourself to an ideal,
you become something else entirely.”

- Liam Neeson (Batman Begins)

The session below contains images we recently captured of Marcus Roberts and of his alter ego Mavrick Traxx.  Images of a mortal who steps into the studio and must transform himself into something greater to conjure his next level signature beats.  You can’t prepare for it, you can’t control it, and most importantly… you won’t be able to turn it down. I&B Photography presents: Mavrick Traxx.

Anthony: Senior 2011 – Dallas Portrait Photographers

Friday, June 10th, 2011

“I believe God made me for a purpose, but he also made me fast.
And when I run I feel His pleasure.

- Ian Charleson (Chariots of Fire)

One afternoon last week I received a call from a friend explaining that our mutual friend Anthony, a graduating senior, had to turn in his track uniform the next day and had never had a photo taken of him wearing it.  That would not do.  So I ran back home, grabbed my gear, and headed out to the track at Bowie High School in Arlington, TX for an impromptu photo session in 100+ degree heat.  Next time someone please remind me to take an extra moment to grab a water since photo shoots are always easier without double vision.  Luckily the camera only captured one Anthony in his element.

A Beautiful Sonnet | Dallas Portrait Photographers

Thursday, October 14th, 2010

While in town visiting her aunt, Sonnet was surprised with an impromptu photo session at Lake Cliff Park in Dallas, TX.  The images capture both her exuberant youth and blooming maturity.  The last image freezes a moment between a proud aunt and her niece.
